Name: Suik Gloris-Seraphiel (his 'real' family name is De'Zerra, but since he's effectively disowned by them, he doesn't use it, instead using his chosen name as a 'last name') Alias: Zero [Xeiname] Age: 536 (His birthday, converted into the Terran calender, is October 23rd) Alignment: Chaotic Good Gender: Male Sexuality: Heterosexual (Suik is married to Aeria Gloris and his two children, Vincent and Keyoto Gloris. He is thus, obviously, not searching for a relationship here in the least) Species: Elfen* This is an RP-journal for the character Suik Seraphiel-Gloris as played by manlidere The character's design is by manlidere and all artwork used in this profile or in this account's icons has been credited to the proper people. To give these pictures some perspective, Suik is some 6'9 and extremely thin. Due to the bone structure of his species he barely weighs in at 120 lbs, and as such when he can't use psionics he's quite fragile. His eyes have no pupils or irises, as result of his 'sin' -- but when Naihe is possessing him he seems to have a blue flame burning behind them. [An Oekaki] -- kiiwiiwii [Character History] [Character Relationships] Notable Interactions lol none yet	Suik's personality is hard to pin down to something simple, really. On the surface, Suik comes off initially as a stick in the mud; a follower of rules and a lover of order. However, this is only on the surface. Suik is a man that can cheat a card game with a straight face and not blink an eye one minute, but when someone breaks one of his own moral codes he's more than willing to tell them off or worse. Around people he doesn't know he can come off as overly formal or abrasive, depending on both circumstances and first impressions, but around people he's more familiar with he can becoming something of a snark -- mocking them, or at least trying to. Even so, his idea of friendship and love is something very special to him -- and once you're on his inside he'll never let go. This leads us to our next point; how the memory of his first loss scared him so deeply. Before [seven years ago and before that point going back to his 'youth' about three hundred years ago], he was dominated on the whole by guilt. He existed with this sense that he would eventually be killed, and he was fine with that, as it would be a proper atonement for his 'Sin' and his shame of exile -- the only thing keeping him going was the promise he made to Naihe before she died. He'd already gotten whatever excuse for 'vengeance' that he could, of course. However, since his time with Aeria, Yugi, Keyo, and his other companions during the conflict seventeen years ago he's grown a little beyond that. Still, even now, he feels that on some levels he isn't worth what he has, though he'll never voice it. Now free from his chain of "Sin" and the curse of his exile, Suik is motivated on the whole by his family. He's loving, fatherly, and now that he's let loose a bit, more than a littler flamboyant at times. He comes off as overly protective his son, daughter, and wife, though he will more often than not seem to be exasperated with them. That said they all know that they mean everything to him. Thing is, bar his family and three of four individuals friends are free to 'come and go' to Suik. Living as long as we will, he more or less has to feel like this. However, in relation to anyone else-- he's the sort to accept anyone if they prove worthy of it, and to drop anyone if they don't. This can mean that he'll ignore a lot of existing stigmatisms to give anyone a chance... but it also means that if you feel his 'test' you're likely to end up with a lot of scorn and judgment thrown your way. Thing is, more often than not he'll protect those people too. For all his flaws, Suik is at heart someone that lives to serve, and while he can come off as objective or cold (particularly in relation to situations he isn't directly involved in) he can't ignore people being abused or hurt right in front of him. It's worth noting that his persona will allow him to more than justify breaking the rules, the law, or any such limitations to fulfill his 'moral code.' And for the sake of his family or the afore-mentioned individuals above, he's even willing to break that. And aside from this, Naihe's personality is a little simpler. Naihe is loving and maternal in many ways, and is deeply in love with Suik even now. However, she acknowledges that she'd dead and has been for a long, long time. She's thankful that she can be with 'her' Suik all this time, but also a little saddened that she has made his life so complicated as a result of it all. She's a little playful, but mostly she's caring and perceptive, both towards Suik and towards others.	Abilities Info Suik (at least outside of Luceti) has a wide array of psionic abilities, some of which are native to his people and some of which are just his personal training and potential being put to worth. Below are the mainstay of his powers without Luceti-limits --Suik can manifest electricity mentally - however because it's his creation, it's blue in color. He can use this as balls, bolts, arrows, channel it into his arm as a type of sword, add it to his punches, use the magnetic to make himself fly for a bit, or any of the above. --He can also manifest raw mental energy physically, which he usually uses like shields - by manifesting a clump of it on his arms, he can seem to blow blows from a sword or even a shell-based firearm bullet with his arms. --Suik is very good at teleporting - that is, going from one place to another instantly. His teleportation range is about four hundred yards, but he can do is many times without a pause. --If he needs to travel further, he can open a gate by way of carving/drawing and activating a runic symbol which can (in theory) takes him anywhere in the universe, so long as he has a focus and the power to go that far (the difficulty increases with distance). --Aside from this, he more than often uses his powers to argument his muscles - this seemingly makes him much, much faster and much, much stronger than his form should normally allow. --He is telekinetic - capable of lifting and moving things with his mind (though anything he'd affecting will take on a blue aura). --He is trained as a Xei, and therefore can use combat artes (think a fighting style for hand-to-hand combat akin to dancing) very well, and is a good scout, sneak, and generally good at infiltration. --He's absurdly skilled with computers, and you should pretty much just assume that so long as it's hackable, he'll get it. --Aside from all of this, though highly unskilled, he is telepathic (as are all Elfen)- however it should be understood he can't read minds with this. He can pick up auras (major emotions, major thought patterns) and "spikes" (pressing thoughts which dominate one's mind for a short period of time). --Inside him is Naihe's soul. This basically works as a second personality, though Naihe is almost never on the surface, as putting a foreign soul in control makes it hard for Suik's body to function. Naihe's abilities are a little different than Suik's in that Naihe can't teleport as well and instead of electricity she uses blue flames. Also, unlike Suik, Naihe can read minds properly.
